When registering for both weekly clinics and holiday programs, we require the following details to process the booking:
- Parent/Guardian Name
- Parent/Guardian Email
- Parent/Guardian Phone Number
- Emergency Contact
- Authorised persons for drop off and pick up
- Participant Name
- Participant Date of Birth
- Participant Medical History/Conditions (diagnosis of allergy, asthma, anaphylaxis, dietary requirements or additional needs)
- Payment details
In the unfortunate event your child(ren) are unwell and unable to attend, we ask that you follow the following steps.
Less than 24 hours before session
Cancellations on-the-day, please call our head office directly on 03 9576 7171. To receive a credit for the session to be used for a future booking, please email a medical certificate to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
More than 24 hours before session
Please email us at email@example.com and you will receive a credit for the session to be used for a future booking.
If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking(s) please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For cancellations within 24 hours of the session, please call our head office on 03 9576 7171.
All cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to a session are applied as a credit on your MSI Kids account. Please note, this credit does not get refunded, it can only be used for future bookings.
For cancellations within 24 hours notice, we require a medical certificate to be emailed to us at email@example.com.
There are no cancellation fees.
CANCELLATIONS 24 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION STARTING
Cancel before 8 AM the day prior, including weekends, by logging into your MSI Kids account and cancelling your session.
Once this has been completed, you will receive a credit to your MSI Kids account to use for a future booking with us. Please note, this credit does not get refunded, it can only be used for future bookings.
CANCELLATIONS ON THE DAY
Call 03 9576 7171 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and advise our Customer Service team. Please note, you will be charged in full for this day unless you are able to provide us with a medical certificate with 7 days. Email Medical certificates to email@example.com and this session will be credited to your MSI Kids account to be used for a future booking.
CHILDCARE SUBSIDY IMPLICATIONS – DUE TO CENTRELINK ENFORCING THE 8 WEEK ENROLMENT RULE
If you cancel the first or last day of your enrolment with MSI Kids, your Child Care Subsidy may be removed by Centrelink. In this situation, you will be charged full fee for the session with no childcare subsidy applying to this day.
Please note this is enforced by Centrelink and this charge may occur 8 weeks after the holidays have completed. Remember this is only applies to cancelled session, without a medical certificate, on your first and last day of attendance.
If your child(ren) are collected after the service closing time, you will be charged a fee of $15 per 15 minutes or part thereof, per family.

No Lunch will be provided at either weekly clinics or holiday programs. However for holiday programs we provide a healthy morning and afternoon tea consisting of cut up seasonal fruit and a choice of Salada or gluten-free rice cakes with vegemite or salsa.
If your child has allergies to any of these foods, please inform us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand and inform the coordinator upon arrival each day.
Please note that some children that attend our services have been diagnosed at risk of anaphylaxis or are allergic to certain foods. We ask that our families to consider this when planning their children’s lunch and avoid packing foods that contain peanuts, tree nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, cashews), fish, or shellfish (e.g. oysters, prawns).
Only parents and/or guardians as specified in registration are able to pick up a child. To add additional persons to your approved pick up list, please email us at email@example.com or call on 03 9576 7171.
If your child has asthma, anaphylaxis, an allergy or any other pre-existing medical condition, we require the child’s action and medical plans to be added during registration. If medication is required, please ensure you bring the medication in its original container, with a use-by-date and clearly labelled with your child’s name. Please hand these to your venue coordinator or Director of Service upon arrival at your venue.
At the conclusion of a program you will receive an automated email prompting you to review your experience with MSI Kids. We encourage you to honestly complete this review as we continue to improve and develop our programs. Alternatively, email us your feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org.
MSI Kids are passionate about education and about enriching the lives of young people.
- Studying towards or have completed a Diploma or higher qualification in the education sector
- Coaching qualification in their chosen sport (if applicable)
- Hold a current Working with Children Check or VIT registration
- Assist in the planning and preparation of exciting and innovative activities, where the kids always want to come back for more!
- Maintain excellent supervision and safety of the kids in our care while at the program and out-and-about on excursions
- Enthusiastic and passionate about providing exciting and engaging activities for kids
- Align to the MSI Kids values of fun, genuine, involved, remarkable, and innovative
They are also required to obtain:
- Level two first aid
- Anaphylaxis training
- Asthma training
With industry leading 1:10 staff to student ratio, we have the time and resources to ensure every child’s individual needs are met.
All of our staff carry working with children checks or a VIT registration and governed by our stringent MSI Child Safety Policy.
Our student ratios of 1:10 ensure that there is close supervision at all times.
Yes it is possible to attend a single day of a camp. Select this option when registering.
Grouping is arranged to suit age, ability and friends — just let us know the names of any friends that are attending when booking. And don’t worry if there are no friends attending — new friends will be made at camp!

All MSI Kids staff are first aid trained and have equipment on hand in the case of injury.
MSI Kids has a nut free policy for participants at all camps and programs.
Please note that you will need to bring your own lunch and snacks in a clearly named lunch box or bag (lunch should not consist of any nuts or nut products). We will provide fruit and drinks daily, please bring your own drink bottle each day.
Yes we offer family discounts when booking in more than one family member into the same program. You will be able to apply this discount during registration.
Yes it is essential that participants sign in upon arrival.
Your eligibility for the subsidy is determined by:
- Your family’s adjusted taxable income
- An activity test
- The type of child care service
